Accessibility Statement

Last updated: November 3, 2026 · Statement version 1.0

Our commitment

TidalCore LLC is committed to ensuring that hydrosling.vercel.app is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA and to improve the experience continuously as the site evolves. This statement applies to the public pages at hydrosling.vercel.app.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define three levels of conformance: A, AA, and AAA. This site is designed to conform with WCAG 2.1 Level AA — criteria such as meaningful text alternatives, usable color contrast, keyboard operability, clear focus order, and compatible markup.

Partial conformance means some user-generated or third-party content (for example, Stripe Checkout hosted by Stripe, or an external review widget if added later) may be outside our direct control. See Limitations below.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML, labeled form controls, and ARIA only where native HTML is insufficient.
  • Visible keyboard focus on every interactive element and a skip-to-content link.
  • Color contrast verified to WCAG AA (recent fix: primary accent darkened to 5.84:1 on white).
  • Color picker and quantity controls operable by keyboard (arrow keys, Space/Enter, +/-).
  • Specifications conveyed as a proper data table with row headers.
  • Chat widget operable by keyboard, closable with Escape, and announced to assistive technology.
  • Images carry descriptive alt text; decorative art is hidden from assistive technology.
  • Build-time checks and manual keyboard / screen-reader walkthroughs before publish.

Compatibility

The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and assistive technologies, including VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA, and JAWS. Older browsers or very old assistive technology may present limitations outside our control.

Feedback and contact

If you encounter an access barrier on this site — for example, you cannot complete a purchase by keyboard, a screen reader misses content, or contrast makes text hard to read — please tell us so we can fix it promptly.

Email: shawnhadjis@gmail.com (subject line: Accessibility)

What helps us fix it fast: the page URL, the barrier you hit, the browser / device / assistive technology you used, and the date/time.

Response target: we aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and resolve or provide a workaround as quickly as feasible.

We do not require you to create an account or use a specific channel to report a barrier — email is sufficient.

Formal complaints and alternatives

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the relevant enforcement or advocacy organization in your jurisdiction. In the United States, accessibility of public-facing websites is enforced under the ADA through the U.S. Department of Justice. This statement does not limit any legal rights you may have.

Limitations and third parties

Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known limits at this statement date:

  • Stripe Checkout: the secure payment step is hosted by Stripe; its accessibility is maintained by Stripe and may change without notice.
  • Vercel Security Checkpoint: if the hosting-layer challenge screen is active, it is served by Vercel and may impose its own interaction model.

When a third-party limitation blocks an essential task, contact us at the email above and we will offer an alternative (for example, completing the order by email).

Assessment and testing

We assess the site through a combination of automated and manual methods:

  • Automated scanning with axe-core (Deque) against WCAG 2.1 AA rules, run locally before each accessibility-related publish.
  • Manual keyboard-only walkthrough (Tab / Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, arrows, Escape) and visible focus-order check.
  • Screen-reader spot-checks (VoiceOver / NVDA) for announcements, names, and roles.
  • Color-contrast measurement for text and UI components.

Last technical remediation before this statement: November 3, 2026 — contrast, focus, skip link, table and widget semantics, and keyboard handling (commit 626aa41). A fresh axe scan is recorded in the site repository with this publish.

Updates to this statement

We review this statement after any material change to the site and at least annually. The next scheduled review is on or before November 3, 2027, or sooner if the product pages or checkout flow change.

Need help right now?

Email shawnhadjis@gmail.com and we will help you complete any task on the site — including placing an order — without requiring you to use an inaccessible step.
